Back in 2018 Insomnia Egypt Gaming Festival set out on a mission, to nurture and enable the cosplay community and talents, embarking on a new era of cosplay in Egypt. The main goal has always been to push the Egyptian Cosplayers’ talents to their absolute maximum potential, to be able to compete on an international level.
Finally in 2023, after 3 successful competitions, Insomnia Egypt is extending the invitation to all international cosplayers to register for its cosplay competition with an aim to have a true international level competition in Egypt.
Registration
Registration is required to participate in the Insomnia Egypt Cosplay Competition and registration is open until the 31st of January 2023 only.
* The deadline for all registrations
is 31st of January 2022.

Insomnia Egypt 2023 Cosplay Competition will feature a total prize pool of 265,000 EGP which will be distributed to the top 10 competitors:

World Cosplay Summit (WCS)
Insomnia Egypt Gaming Festival has partnered with the World Cosplay Summit.
For the first time since the inception of WCS 20 years ago, Egyptian cosplayers are allowed to join in and represent their country!
The World Cosplay Summit Qualifications will be held on Saturday, 18th February 2023 at Insomnia Egypt Gaming Festival.
- WCS Qualifiers are open to the teams of 2 participants only.
- To participate in the WCS Qualifiers, you both have to register and compete in both competitions on the 17th and 18th of February 2023.
- WCS Scoring will include scoring from the Insomnia Egypt Competition on the 17th of February and the WCS Qualifications on the 18th of February.
Registration for WCS Qualifiers is through the WCS Team Form.
Live on the main stage
Insomnia Egypt Cosplay Competition will take place on the main stage on Friday, 17th February 2023.
Tickets Reimbursement

- We know it’s super exciting to finally meet your favourite hero in real life, but please keep in mind that our talented cosplayers are also here to enjoy the event, just like you! Make sure to always ask permission first before taking a picture and keep in mind that they spent hours on their hand-made creations, so please don’t touch any of their props without consent.
- Insomnia Egypt reserves the right to deny entry to the Cosplay Competition to anyone who violates the event rules.
